Hello!!

I'm back with a post, and this is something I witnessed a couple of days ago. I thought it was a very nice little incident, and thus, here I share it with you.

So, this girl I know, had been on a visit to a creche for children from the weaker sections of the society. The little kids there spoke only the colloquial language and not the formal dialect taught in school. My friend, who tried her best to mingle with the kids, felt very awkward and bad about not being able to talk to them, without a translator.
Her group had been hanging around with a bunch of the little kids, and she was trying her best to interact with them, only visibly unsuccessfully. Then, one of the quietest kids in that group came forward, took her hand and led her out into the play arena of the creche. Although she went willingly, she was nervous, about how she would respond, were he to ask or say something to her.
On reaching the play arena, the boy left her hand and ran to the swing. He beckoned my friend to follow, and soon, they were wordlessly swinging net to each other, without a word passing between them. at the end of ten minutes, they'd both begun using sign language and speaking to each other, laughing and giggling endlessly.
It is not that either could not speak. Just that their speech was alien to the other. Yet, nothing stopped basic human nature and the kindness of one human being from flowing to another, without channels. This incident was not a great one; even then to those who understand it, it's greatness is beyond measure.

I hope you have a really nice day (and if today is nearly over, may you have a nice day tomorrow!). Until I come back with another post, Au revoir!!
